That's fair enough. My own confidence in art was kind of shattered when I get told on one of my other games that my art style is kind of crappy. and well, that kind of sucked, won't lie. 
I don't mind drawing the images myself, but it's something I currently don't have the time for. Down the track, I may add my own versions of art, and maybe add a toggle or something for those who want different styles, but at this stage, not yet. 

But I appreciate the feedback. I do plan on drawing more myself when I get more time.

Trust me, I get it. especially when learning it is very easy to get discouraged when people are jerks. Like I said, whatever art you make is automatically better than any AI, but I don't blame you for needing placeholder images and you want them to be somewhat consistent in the meantime. If you want any help, I'd be more than willing to discuss further.
