DO NOT... Those 2 simple words entail a strong wish to just do it. But..., is it wise or smart to do it...? Will you regret downloading files onto your computer and execute them before they execute you? I really liked the setting, graphics and story. I did miss the ability to run, because that's what anyone normally does when being chased, unless it's by animal;s, in that case you fight.
I had a lot of fun playing this game and didn't run into any bugs, hiccups or other snags. So, kudos to you [and anyone else involved in this project] and job well done!
