Does this work with a Mac?

Under System Requirements you mention Windows and Linux as well as the Mono-Build of Godot.

As far as i can see the Mono-Build is also available for mac. Does that mean it should theoretically work on a mac?

Hello! I've had a problem with the Mac version recently, and since I don't have access to Mac hardware I was not able to test this profoundly, but according to some other people using Mac, it now works correctly.

Hey CookieBadger, i just bought your asset, hoping it would work for me. I am using an M1 Mac with Godot 4.1.1 mono-build. After installing .NET 7 and .NET 6 and your addon i got some errors while activating your addon.

I followed instruction from another C#-addon: Go to "Project -> Tools -> C# -> Create C# Solution". After i have done that i rebuild my project,  restarted Godot and did your install instructions again. Then i got it working. After writing this i found out you have to hit the build-button. Maybe this does the same, i just pressed the play-button thinking this also builds your project. But i guess it does not, nevermind...

I played a bit with Assetplacer and it is such a joy to work with this.  I think this will be essential for my 3D-Level-Design and i would be grateful if you can support this  for a while ;) If i am more advanced with my project i will post screenshots in the other thread!

Hey Taobis, great to hear you got it working! Indeed, pressing the build button should do exactly that, although the button often does not show up the first time you open the project, so thanks for the tip of going through Project -> Tools.

I'm very happy that you like the tool, and I wish you all the best for your creations. I will definitely support it as long as I can.

Cheers

Hey there,
Sorry for the multiple edits.
The plugin works fine on Mac. The issue I was having was unrelated to my Os.
Thanks for making such a great tool. I can already tell it will make my life so much easier! :)
