Yes, tried the panel change to find the drink, but nothing came up. It was a curious little glitch and I wonder if it has something to do with a mostly completed save already in the renpy file

Ok, you can try to delete previous saved files here:
C:\Users\your_user\AppData\Local\ZIsland\Saved
Replace "your_user" with your personal folder and delete all files in \Saved folder. Might be something wrong with previous saved game. Please contact me (jptester) through Discord to look deeper into this issue.
