Question About Game Error?

Hello, just recently purchased the full game because I loved the demo so much. But the only issue is, I downloaded it, extracted the files and everything, but it says there's an error with the program coding. I hope this can be resolved, and it's just me, because if not, I'd feel pretty disappointed :(

Hello!

Can you please post more information? Unfortunately I can't tell you what the problem possibly is with this much information.

Whenever you are reporting bugs with games, generally a developer will always need to know:

- your operating system (for instance some people have accidentally downloaded the windows version of the game when they are on a mac. This, of course, will result in an error. So it's important to let me know what system you are on!)

- when the error occurs (on start up, when you click 'new game', etc)

- and the exact nature of the error (does the game shut down, do you get a specific error message, etc. If you get an error message, I need to know what the message is. You can post a screen cap if you need to).

Given that many people have purchased and played this game without issues, I would imagine there's a fixable error happening somewhere along the way so as long as I have more details I can hopefully help you resolve it! Thanks!

Ah, hi, firstly, thank you for answering!

Anyways, to answer your questions, sorry about not being more specific, I will try and break it down as much as I can. Basically. I downloaded the windows version because I have windows 10 and from there, everything seemed fine. The files were downloaded, and then I extracted the files so the application would work (cause the files are pretty big, obviously). After everything was set and down, I opened the extracted file application, but it just directed me to a text program, essentially, if that makes sense?? Like, I could write down words of my own? Anyways, I don't know if I was too detailed, but I appreciate you answering me regardless. I deleted the download yesterday, but I'm going to try and re-download it and I will let you know if anything changes!

I'm not totally sure I understand what the problem is. Generally when you are downloading from Itch, you will get a zip file.

Once you extract/unzip the game, there will be a folder with a .exe file in it. From what I am understanding, when you tried to run the .exe, you got some sort of error.

But I still can't help you unless I know the exact error message you received and what it said. Generally, an error message itself has critical information about what went wrong and without that, I have no way of knowing what happened. If you can take a screen cap, that would be very helpful. Thank you!
