I really like the setting of the story from my first play through, even if I died on the first go (lol). During the middle of the story, there were images of the vet clinic that really added to the atmosphere of the story which I really liked and wished that there were visuals for all of the story! The writing is also quite descriptive and really set the mood, which I heavily enjoyed.
The choices are pretty straightforward but leads the story forward pretty well. There are some choices where there is a risk which I enjoyed, and some that are just to further describe the environment. There is a nice balance between the two that made it interactive yet immersive. The choices also don’t really hint at the result either, which I think heightens the risk factor of the choices, which works really well especially since in a zombie apocalypse it would be very risky everywhere too.
I played through the entire game and had a fair share of failures and also surviving the story. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and wish I knew how the rest of the story ended.
