What version of the game are you playing on?
The problem they having on 1.9 is not the arcade mode entirely, but the machine running it.
They can try set the games priority to high in the task manager, but other then that its mostly because the computer cant handle it correctly.
The one Patreon has got a new crash that happens more often when you return to the arcade modes main menu. The one on 1.9 is just a regular crash based on hardware issues or priority placement.
I know that and that's why I'm asking this in the first place
