To give you an idea of where the project is, I sent a link to the draft page for version 3 to the email address tied to your itch account (assuming you were the person who purchased this morning). I've got everything you mentioned in the new version except for side-stepping. There definitely needs to be an avoidance animation but I still haven't settled on whether that should be a step, spin, dash, or roll.
