This is fixed in Nuclear Throne Together beta that’s on Steam in the ntt-testing branch - apparently a GameMaker bug.

I tried it with the "ntt_development-NTT test build" branch, but when I run NTT-Assemble.exe I get the message "Can't patch - audio section doesn't fit. A newer NTT build or an older game build may be needed." ' will be displayed.
Was “9940” good for NTT?
