Hey Wagle! Yes the project is still alive and breathing, just taking a bit of time for me to get things done at the moment. Life is being life if you know what I mean.
Most of my backgrounds are royalty free backgrounds from google images. There is only one background that I have used and I deliberately kept the artists name at the bottom, so everyone knew that it was not mine. Hope this helps :)
yes I am sure they are royalty free, currently new backgrounds are being drawn by myself to add to the game so the ones currently being used are temporary and will be removed as such once I have made ones to replace them.
