Remember that old creepy maze jumpscare maze many years ago?
This gave me memories of that, just in long form waiting for it to happen.
Dreader was fun and different. Playing a character sitting at a computer, looking at your surroundings, waiting to be scared as sounds happen around you are you navigate the mazes. Didn't know I was that bad at cursor control!
It has a pretty unsettling atmosphere, giving the real life vibes of playing games in the dark and alone where you hear a noise and start looking around.
I did enjoy, don't want to spoil, the entity you meet up with, thought they looked interesting.
Dreader successfully blends suspenseful gameplay with a touch of the eerie while invoking memories.
