Well this made for a fun little 3D Metroidvania shooterAt first glance, the game is kind of bare bones. Three weapons total, about two or three different enemy types and dungeosn that look exactly the same all over seem to not make things super exciting.
Of course, as you unlock upgrades and Vampire Powers, things get more interesting, and you start to notice the game is more carefully planned than you thought. Still, for a game that takes about an hour, things get stale a little quickly - I feel like the dungeon at least could have been slightly more decorated, and that maybe one or two more surprises in terms of enemies would have been appreciated.
Still, Valpurgis was fun, snappy, responsive and neither too difficult or too easy to be fun, and I appreciate that quite a bit. Thanks for a fun time!
