The idea is very good. I also liked the visual style (it reminded me of Don’t Starve). But the implementation is a little crude. It seems to me that you can add a little more different sounds and music, in addition to the main theme. You can also add an animation for enemies taking damage, otherwise when I hit, sometimes it’s not entirely clear whether I hit it or not. I understand that you may have been short on time.
