Thank you for this!

I watched through the whole video, for other games in it too, and I believe you provided great feedback for everyone. Also, seeing someone else play your game is very insightful.

For my game in particular, I would like to clarify some things:

  • The difficulty curve is indeed pretty steep, I made sure you could play other levels if you get stuck on a particular one, but still, I think that needs a little bit of tuning, but at the same time I loved the fact that the game actually made you think for longer about a good solution for some levels, which is what I aimed for (obviously, its a puzzle game);
  • For the "tutorial" sugestion, I tried to make the game teach you things without having the need to follow a tutorial, so that the game is easy to pick up and play, every level introduces a new concept and then explores that concept further (even for mechanics you didn't get to try, such as pressure plates, small pushable blocks, activation doors, secret flowers, gravity changes, ecc...);
  • The lever/switch mechanic is meant to let you jump without activating it back again, its not actually a bug (happens at around 00:53:30 in your playthrough), you can complete those levels without using that technique, but kudos to you for finding that out (you can use this "exploit" for various secrets in the game, but shhhh);
  • You already gave gameplay, audio and visuals a 5/5, that's just amazing for me. I'm glad you liked the game and thank you very much for your kind rating! Hopefully now that Goedware clarified that I specifically asked not to take part in the main jam competition, this doesn't worry anyone;
  • The "WOW" factor in your rating is fair, I did make only about 1/3 of the game for the jam, so the game can't be compared to other devs' games, which somehow often managed to make nearly the same content I could put in my game, which is impressive;
  • For the "theme" rating, I made the game itself fit the theme more introducing teleports and gravity switches, but you indeed can't find them till later on in the game, therefore I think the portion of the game you played actually doesn't fit the theme as much as other jam games you played in the same playthrough, so that's fair too;

Thank you again for your useful playthrough :D
