Just wondering how to fix a bug where when I try to launch a new game I get "TypeError: Cannot read property 'apply' of undefined" with certain file IDs and a prompt at the end of press F5 which doesn't fix the issue
This is Windows Sorry for how long it took me to get back to this. I'm not finding much on this bug, generally it seems to be caused when the game is calling something that doesn't exist, but since others aren't getting this bug that doesn't particularly make sense. Two things I can think to try: First is moving the game to your desktop, and try running it from there. It could be that the game cannot find what it's looking for because the filepath is too long. If that works you can move the game somewhere else, you'll just need the folders containing it to have shorter names. Second is to re-download the game, in case some files are missing somehow.
Let me know if those work or not. As a backup, another thing you could try is the web version. It requires a bit of set up with your browser and isn't compatible with a few of the plugins, so your characters sprite and face images won't reflect their actual appearance.
