This was a great remake of the original "The Smiling Man" and I was definitely kept on the edge while having to run away from the smiling man who is way faster than the protagonist. I enjoyed both the main story and the alternative story, with the alternative story being slightly more challenging due to the location that the smiling man comes from. The jumpscare in the alternative story definitely caught me off guard as it got me really good where I was lost as to where to go after getting jumpscared like that XD.
The game has an overall great scary and horror atmosphere, making use of darkness and lighting as well as the chase sequence to highlight the horrors of being chased in a dimly lit area. It would be cool if we get to learn more about the smiling man in the game in the future.
