Thank you so much! We just love history and thought WW1 would be an interesting conflict to set the story in. Team Guhuhu is actually American, so we thought we'd start with what we were most familiar with--what was happening near the western front. (There was a lot of action happening elsewhere, too! It's something we'd love to explore in future Love & Country stories.) Since we are not French though, we've tried to do our research.
