The infamous ghost and goblins jumping mechanic! Really liked that and the cool tile switching. My main gripe is with the harsh difficulty spike right from the get go. I was a bit confused because I tought I had to use the tileshifting more often so I got a bit stuck and low on money. But then taking my revenge on the triple knight blocking with the gold shield and creating a spike under them felt so good!

I report you a bug that is really strange and happen by clipping with the jump a bit out of the ground, it start sending the player upward and then throw it back on the same spot repeating that. With a restart I solved it.

Thank you for the kind words!

The bug you found is probably a rare issue combined with lag (the game is actually quite laggy on the later levels since it is made in python and pygame but I added framerate independence to cover that up) and a unique jump case where you just barely touched the edge of the tile. I will fix it after the jam along with other bugs and also add more levels and maybe slope out the difficulty curve. Once again, thank you for playing and for the bug report!

Oh I see it got sometimes a little bit choppy the framerate, probably that was the case. It happened in a strange spot too.(I was jumping over the tree knight to ambush them and I got stuck in those blocks) I'll have to try again as I want to reach further levels.

Thank you for the bug report, good luck with the game! WARNING: There have been reported bugs with  the last level (4th level) involving the fire staff (game crashes when you use them on enemies) sorry about those, anyway, it's pretty possible to beat the enemies and bosses without using the staff.

I've fixed most of the bugs now and also added a couple of things in the new version, further development of the game is in full swing. If you would like to try the fixed and updated version, please do, Playtesting is always helpful.
