It's nice to have voice over in games. With the way this game was structured I really wished it was skippable though. I am forced to listen to it all over again when I die. Gameplay was not obvious to me and I really feel like it was not working as intended. The vampire inclusion felt a bit contrived. Despite that, I'm glad to see that someone attempted a FNAF type of game this time.

Sorry for the essay here, have a lot to say (nothing you said was wrong nor mean and I am in no way taking offense to it nor trying to defend my decisions in any way, just trying to explain things):

I would change some things to be more polished if I updated this later like skipping the intro and a replay button. And I did test, everything does work as intended. my games rarely have "bugs" and if it does it doesn't usually break the game (not to say that I'm perfect or anything, my games aren't that good in the first place). I just added stupid things to make it "harder" but in retrospect (lmao it was obvious) it wasn't the best idea. I probably should've realized that from the beginning though. that was the biggest mistake in this game and I would change it in a heartbeat upon updating this game after the jam, if I do of course. And for anyone else reading this, that's what's wrong with the gameplay. Idk if I can update during the jam but I would fix it if I could, and even if I could I already lost ratings over it.

Oh yea and then the problem of people not even understanding the gameplay in the first place. it's pretty straight forward, that's why I added the hints.

Then the vampire inclusion being "a bit contrived" is 100% true. this was NOT my original idea of what to make. Though I'm not sure what I wanted to make was exactly "better". it does 100% work into the universe though. There's even lore about it, though it's not fully defined.
