Mostly what I liked were the different positions and gallery
The custom gallery function? Maybe? Buti think tl2 is somewhat a different vibe than the first one.

I think they got confused by the other tentacle locker game that is like your first game, but more animations, a leveling system and a rather annoying micromanaging gameplay. Its also lovecraftian in nature.
