i think the canon one is probably with spencer ngl, cuz then chester is with dozer and darius is well... himelf and doesn't really feel like he needs someone until the mc sticks around him a ton and makes him rely on him idk, darius is kinda good by himself, and spence and the mc kinda just go hand in hand

I partially agree about Spencer. After changing day 3 and removing the "nobody loves you" ending, Spencer became the "default" route of the game. That's it. This does not mean that he has become a canon. And I don't agree about Darius. He hold his face so no one can hurt his feelings. And just look at his interaction with Spencer in every routes. Even you asked yourself "and what about lion?". These two deserve each other. And based on that(not only that, there are a lot more reasons), my personal canon is: Spencer+Darius | Chester+Dozer | MC+Harold | Maria+Richard | Dwayne+(idk)Primal? :)
if you play through the routes I still think Darius is just needing someone to care about. He has a hard time showing how he actually feels but he goes out of his way to help out the MC in literally every route you go down. I do have a minor gripe about the Dozer route (after you do Chester's) but that's just because it's hypocritical of what was said like 1 or 2 days before.
