I am not sure right now because I don't have the game installed, but I am pretty sure there was a .txt file inside the game folder that contained every song name.

Hmm I'll have to have a look.

Ok I had a look and can only see names for 3 songs:

"Where You Are Now" by Alex Beroza

"In peace (our destiny)" by Carosone

"What a Bitch" by Jupiter Skydive

The song I want a name for is the intro song which is the first one in this youtube vid OST.

I
Interestingly this OST doesn't include the song by Carosone, but otherwise it seems to have more songs than the text file.  So this is odd.

The text file has a lot of random links that it's unclear what it's referring to. Like one page just had a lot of hentai, not sure if it was for music or an image as none of it looked familiar and the site wasn't secure so I didn't stay long. lol

Many of the links are for other ambience songs I believe, with their sources since most of them are from "free to use". Anyways here are the OP and the ED credited at the end of the webpage den2do.com/trial.html

EDIT: I will have to reinstall the game and check about the one you asked for, that one might be missing for some reason.

Yeah I assumed most the links were for free music or sounds (like belly grumbles, explosions etc).

Thanks for that link. I've played both songs at the bottom of the page and I don't remember either of these in the game but they're not the song you hear in the menu screen (which is what I called the opening, perhaps that's the wrong term for that though).

Such a mystery, please do let me know if you find anything I missed in the file.

Sorry for the late reply, I actually had to dig in inside the .xp3 files, to find the song and it's file name.

The origin of the song is from one of the websites listed in the readme called oo39 dot com, the game has many songs from there and the intro is one of them, the only thing I could find aside from that, is that is called "YS174", no artist, or the source of the vocoder voice, or anything unfortunately.

Also, interestingly, there wasn't any need to credit even the song, so I suppose Dendo just wanted to be sure to credit everything.

EDIT: Nevermind, if you don't pay for the "premium" service of that website you need to credit the song, so it's actually free to use too, with obligatory crediting+link I think.

Ahh thanks so much, I dunno how long this took you but I appreciate it! I think I ended up on that site but got overwhelmed with it lmao.

I've been able to download it now so at least I can hear it when I want without our overlord Youtube.

I appreciate them crediting regardless of whether it was needed or not. Sadly too many people skip that step and it does mean we can enjoy them more if we can find them. I just wish it was a bit easier to access because I love that song so much. It gives me great nostalgia vibes but of the most happy parts of my childhood OuO

Apparently the song is in Hanamogera language (semantic-free gibberish), that's kinda cool.  Not sure I'm understanding the concept properly though lol

No problem, it didn't take too long haha C:

I am glad too that dev creddited everything, because it's always interesting to find new and obscure music just soundtrack artists, I agree that is a great song, and aside from that,  for me it fits so seamlessly with the whole vibe of the VN too.

I wasn't familiar with that term either, although certainly recognize games that use this concept on a certain degree, like the original Starfox, Chibi-robo or Animal Crossing. I guess Splatoon too, but I am not sure if the language spoken there is semantic-free.

Omg yes I love the vibe of this game so much. Such heavy 90's vibes in the anime and music, even the colouring. I love it so much :3 They did really well pulling in all the assets they used to make something so fluid.

I thought Animal Crossing just had weird noises rather than language sounding words, but I've never played it. But yeah I never gave much thought to whether it had a name or set of criteria to define it really haha
