Hello! I've been playing reborn on Android ever since u updated the hold press on number and I really love your game. I am having a new issue though. no matter how many times I complete reborn on hard mode the game never records my score on leader board or play achievements. I have records for every other difficulty and mode as far as I can tell if that helps.

I gave it a shot on Android, and it seems to be working fine. I'll need a bit more info to figure out the issue.
What's your in-game username? Do the rest of the achievements work? Check if, for example, your "Reborn - 100 Hard" achievement percentage increases. And if you go to the stats section, do you already have a local record for reborn-hard?
hi thanks for the response! according to my Google achievements I've won hard mode reborn 5 times (5% complete for reborn hard 100), although I know that number should be higher. there is no local record for reborn on hard at the bottom on leaderboards like there is for the other modes. I have been travelling in another country with my network set to roaming during the last week and a half which is when the bulk of my wins took place. I'm not sure if that had an impact.
edit: just won one game to test. my achievement score went from 5% to 6% so that appears to be working correctly, but there is still no local record in leaderboards
Yes, it's possible that theroaming connection affected the win percentage, as it might not have consistently sent events to Google Play Games.
As for the absence of a record on the leaderboard, I may have a theory:
If you win with a time greater than your overall best time, the game currently don't prompt you to submit the score online. This is done to reduce the number of server requests, assuming that your best score is already on the online leaderboard. However, in your case, your best time might have been set before the new leaderboards were introduced, or the request to submit your score may have failed for some reason.
To confirm this theory, please open the stats (the button in the bottom right corner of the main menu) and check the best time in reborn hard.
oh I see! so my current score in that section is 7m3s, which I likely obtained while in airplane mode or roaming, because of this the score was never sent to the server is that right? so I think if I understand correctly in order to see my score on the leaderboard I need to beat that time while online.
thank you! also idk if this reborn mechanic exists elsewhere or if you came up with it yourself, but I really love it. it adds so much to the game, and while there does require guessing the guessing feels way better then traditional minesweeper. it feels exciting. and again thank you for fixing the way the hold on number works. its such a great game you have here 🤙

And yes, it's a mechanic I think I created. I released Minesweeper Reborn on the play store back in 2017, and at the time, it only had the reborn mode because I didn't want it to be just another clone of the original game. I wanted it to be my own version of the game. I added the classic mode a few years later due to many requests in the reviews.
