this is a really nice game! the low but controllable friction for the ship makes moving around fun, and the simple gameplay loop is perfect for a game jam! your pixel art is pretty appealing too, only suggestion would be some sort of difficulty increase, such as spawning several aliens at once or perhaps limiting ammo? Well done :)
