Now this - this was quite the experience.

The Final Pin presents itself and plays like one of those dour serial killer dramas you'd know from the 90ies, like Se7en, Zodiac or its ilk, and for the most part plays that part totally seriously.

What gameplay there is is sparingly used, and seems to be more there to make you feel each grueling moment of the job as the protagonist chases a mysterious killer. Menial, dirty work that needs to get done, but doesn't feel nice to do, yet keeps you motivated to see it through to the end because you need to know the truth.

I did have my problems with the sewer segment, as detailed in the video itself, but overall, The Final pin was a great playthrough, and I highly recommend it for those looking for a more dour, brooding brand of horror than your average escape room haunted house - much as I love the latter, too.
