I walked to the front area of the vox jar, clicked a few times and got that sucessfully. Hope it can help you!!
(i think it only can be grabbed at a specific place coz I failed a few times too)

Can confirm, if you click on the jar to walk towards it and then click on the last piece at the right time you're able to actually grab it. (EDIT: added .gif to give a visual aid)
