I think I was very lucky playing this game, because I did see the bad guy, but always at a distance and found all the gifts very quickly. I don't know if you have randomized the places where you can find gifts, but in my case it was an easy breeze.
I didn't run into any visible bugs, hiccups or other snags. Thanks for making this game. I had fun playing it.
