I worked with the composer on other jams so I checked this game.

Gameplay issues

  • At the beginning of the game, I got pushed outside of the playing area!

  • Looks like I need to wait for the red disc to fill to shoot one projectile? It forces me to run away and shoot sparingly. For this kind of game, I expect to continuously blast through waves of enemies!

Shoot on hold Fire input! Reduce shooting period to 0.1s or so! Spawn multiple bullets at once with some angle variations around the shooting direction! Then fill with FX and SFX for feedback! (the last point requires more budget, but the first two are just about tuning code and data a bit)
