i accidently set the game to the wrong resolution and i basically cant do anything. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game but the resolution settings have stayed the same. is there any way i can completely wipe the games data or settings?

Find the game archive, click with right button, select properties, click in compatibility and click in "Run in 640x480 screen resolution".
Open the game, change the resolution for the one you want and return in compatibilities to disable that.
