Well, the physics are really slippery and hard to control, and the background cats are nice, but sometimes it is hard to see the difference between the background and the platforms (like this part).


Also, it will be pretty nice if there is any indication that you can jump in the air if you haven't jumped on a platform before (I'm pretty sure that other players couldn't have figured that out by themselves).

And i think that there is a better way to make a lighting effect without making the entire screen bright and dark every time I'm close to a torch. Like using a canvas modulate and assigning a point light 2D to every torch or something since you are using Godot.

Thanks for the constructive critisism, I didn’t think anyone would spend the time of their day to play it, let alone to give me tips of how to improve it. I know, there’s a better way to do everything in this game, and I’m pretty sure I could figure it out, but making bad games quickly is, in my opinion, the best way to learn gamedev. Also there are some tips and instructions in the description, but they are a half measure.
