I used the download link for the folder, so it was Windows 0.43.5. I just got this error and game didn't launch, however it appeared in the processes in the task manager. I tried the NW.js but it didn't help. What did work though is downloading it with the other link through Itch App Download, this version runs without any issue.

Well, the Itch App Download version was out of date, so that was still 0.42. I'm updating that now, but I've also uploaded a version of 0.43.5 that you can try running to see if it works.
