Thanks for the feedback! I agree that the visuals have a ways to go and I like your suggestion regarding the backgrounds.
And that's a fair point about the dialogue controls too--I think I was overly concerned about the player accidentally re-initiating a longer sequence after one ends, but there are ways to work around that.
