This was really interesting to play. I love the W forward + Mouse direction mechanic. I was surprised to noticed that shooting stopped you and as others have mentioned, it makes dodging impossible. But, I do think there might be a solution to it and turn that into your favor.

Like, there was this enemy that has two guns on each side facing forward so it can shoot two bullets at once but the freezen gun can only cover one of the bullets in a face to face shooting, but there was a part of the level where I took cover from this enemy and I was able to literally cover myself from the second gun while blocking and attacking the enemy.

I found that pretty cool, so you could use some level design to balance the lack of dodging, could also make those 2-gun enemies be static so you know before hand how to position yourself to attack them.

The possibilites are endless really, very cool game!
