The swinging mechanic is executed really nicely! Very fun to swing across platforms, nice little runner with a good twist. Well done, thank you for sharing!
And if you get a chance to check out my game Foxy Boom Boxy, I would love any feedback, thanks!
This was decent. Not very good, but it functioned, and it was pretty fun.
The rope sometimes seems more like a hookshot. Instead of swinging in an arc, it propels me forward. I never truly got the hang of it; it's quite clunky.
The levels seem unnecessarily maze-like at times. I even got soft-locked in level 8. There's a lot of pointless trial-and-error.
The art is very readable, and the audio is fairly balanced. Good work on that.
Good first attempt.
Solid foundation for the game. In the tutorial level, it prompts a left-click to jump, but the visual indicates a right-click. Additionally, consider slightly slowing down the game pace. Presently, all levels are accessible from the start; consider implementing a progression system for unlocking them based on player achievements.
This is a really fun game that I can see myself getting sucked into, especially on mobile. Some cool sound effects and making the platforms and backgrounds different colors to differentiate would really take this over the top. Good job! If you have a chance please also check out and rate my entry for the Jam :D. Good work!
Loved the game, great job!
Pls make it work for mobile, itd be really fun on a phone
It's a well-made and fun game and the swinging mechanics are engaging. But it doesn't feel like using the theme in a meaningful way.
