I managed to finish the game!
I gotta say, this was one of the most interesting ideas I saw yet. The sound design is really well made, I especially like how satisfying it is to hear the cat purr on your arms when you finally manage to find it.
That being said, the game is a little unapproachable with only the simple instructions given in the description. When I started I thought the movement was grid based, which made me spin around for a good while before I actually realized what was going on. The map also felt really big, considering how limited the player was, so sometimes I just found myself blindly stumbling around for some time before the environment gave me any clue on what to do.
Overall, I think you did a great job and, while it still has a lot of room for improvement, the concept is really interesting.

Thank you for playing, and for the great feedback! I'm glad you liked the concept and the sound design - those are the two things I focused on so it's great to hear they are working.
I'm also very grateful to know about the approachability issues you raised. If you can believe it, the map actually used to be even bigger - I pared it down a couple times during development, but it sounds like I still haven't found the sweet spot for it yet. Regarding the controls, it looks like we're allowed to update the description, so I've tried to clarify them a bit on the game page.
