Is the secret surprise available, if you load old save files? Also, the bad end code was not recognized.
Nope old saves just mess up the game. Also the game is referring to the code you get in the secret room after you beat the first demo, where the hidden tf form was unlocked. But the code can be found in this demo too so its not missable.
