from my understanding while development, NTR is the umbrella abbreviation for the act of cuckolding.
1) netorare (your wife gets stolen)
2) netori (you steal other wives)
3) netorase (husband sends his wife to sleep with others)
but since NTR originated from netorare, is it oftenly (confusingly) used.
