That's one of several options.
the first one is that you might not be hitting the exact right path for the bed crawl corruption:
Otherwise, you could throw it over by discord, but if you're not already on the discord you probably don't want to be. Alternatively you could use one of the many guides on the internet to enable the renpy console (you change one line in a file from False to True), at which stage you open your saved game, press shift-o to open the console and toggle type:
cSamiBedcrawl1 = False
Finally, you could just wait, I'm currently rethinking the entire corruption point system so that it is just nicer and less arbitrary.
