If you play on PC, your saves should appear automatically in the game, and if you play on Android, you can find a guide to transferring saves between versions in Discord's FAQ channel.
If you have not cleaned the game folder in C:\\AppData, everything should be saved. Do not delete the old version yet, just download the new version and check it out. If the saves are lost, the same guide to transferring saves has a path to them on your computer, which you can use to transfer the saves manually.
