Anyone else having an issue with the files being download as non compressed files. i can't unzip the windows version.

This is really strange, the .7z file extension is missing? Are you sure you are not renaming the file when saving, thus stripping the extension? If your current archive manager can't open .7z files, I would advise you to install 7zip. Maybe I misunderstand your problem.

I merely download it, no name change or anything and I am using 7zip

The file you download is ~837mb right? Can't you just add the extension manually so your archive manager can unzip it?
