Hi, thank you so much for making all these! 

At the moment ss3dlights is doing something strange to my colors.  I only have light 0 enabled with neutral coloring but the final result changes the overall coloring of my objects.  Am I doing something wrong?

I've found a workaround/solution to the color problem.  Putting the SS3D effect on a non-transparent layer above the game layer followed by a Multiply effect will apply the colored lighting as expected to the game layer.  However, if the Multiply effect is above SS3D in the effect order it will still do this to the final colors.

If you can give me a simple example project, so I can look at all the parameters, project setting, layers, etc., I will take a look. I am glad you found a work around for now.

I see the difference, but not quite sure where it is sneaking in from yet, I will continue to look at this in the background and it to the to do list.
