Update: As of this date (25Jul2019), LINUX Air Combat version 7.65 is the latest, greatest version. It is interoperable with all prior versions since 7.56, which was released in April 2019. Users with older versions should upgrade in order to participate online with the LAC community through our free server at LinuxAirCombat.com.
Recent improvements focus on more accurate flight models and more interesting online combat missions. Our online community is small, but we get together every Thursday evening for amazing online battles. Here's a YouTube video clip showing a recent example:
