Bug report:

Version: BETA v0.7.2.18

After an earthquake the population of the Planet was not correct on the main Galaxy view (the Colonies list was, however, correct). The Galaxy view display for the planet showed the old total (it was full, in case that makes a difference, in this case 68/68) instead of the 37/68 that should have showed... I presume it was updated before the news but not again afterwards but the Colonies list is updated when it is shown? So it showed the correct total. (Might be worth checking other news events that change things that might be shown on the main Galaxy view but loaded when that is first updated). I should not that the next turn it was correctly shown.

Okay, I'm  sorry but I can't play this game any more, there seems to be no way that I am not going to get completely stabbed in the back by the Remnent ... the Remnent at this point have more ships that both of my neighbours have so far - and much more lethal... I am constantly fighting off incursions by one who had a mature trade deal with me and wants a research deal - which I'm not giving him since my research is way better than theirs - and acts more like a terrorist organisation than an ally and the other who went all aggressive having had an almost mature trade deal, having exchanged maps and having had no battles at all with him... yes, fine, he's an aggressive AI but then why all the other stuff he was willing to do?

I'm trying to build a trade empire but I can't when I have to build the Galaxies large fleet and scare my neighbours just so I can clear out Remnent forces that are currently greater than everyone else combined just in my part of the galaxy and there is no way to stop them being generated at all that I can see anywhere in the configs... the few pirates at the start... fine, annoying but fine... but having to fight through the alleged "Remnent" when they own a quarter of the galaxy... they're hardly Remnent.

So I'm through... so much time that I scraped together to play a game that I tried to mod as hard as possible to get rid of them but I am not in this to play exclusive beat the crap out of people games... why bother with trade, spying and diplomacy if your game does not make them even the slightest bit effective? The costs of a fleet already massively undercut the diplomacy costs but the Remnent make a "low" military game impossible - having said that I spend five times the amount on military than NATO wants their members to spend and I was in a competely non-combat, they can just roll over me, situation... slightly disproportionate, no???

This game is just a very, very slow tactical combat game... well done with that aspect but the rest just don't make any sense.
