It's all good, the autosave actually went to right before the boss fight which was a later save. I decided to start a new game since I hadn't played the game in a long time anyway
I see. I can only suggest making a separate save at the point where you choose your favorite girl. This way you can check all the endings, both good and bad for all girls.
