Yeah, trying to keep them from being toooo annoying. As of right now, they happen wayy less often, and with less consistency than the dirty solar panels. Totally open to tweaking the rates at which they happen after the update gets pushed out (and how fast they drain oxygen from your base etc).
Upgraded, less leaky base modules would be pretty sweet.
