Hello there! I must say, I really enjoy the type of game you've created. It brings back great memories of playing Starcraft. However, I think the absence of sounds takes away from the overall experience, as sound effects can enhance immersion and engagement.
Regarding gameplay, having the camera follow the player would be a fantastic improvement. It would streamline the controls and make the gameplay much more intuitive and enjoyable.
One area that could use some refinement is the shooting mechanics. At the beginning, I found it quite complicated, possibly due to unclear keyboard instructions.
