Been playing for a while now, a few weeks off and on, and I like a lot of what I see but I do see some ways the game can be improved in my opinion

Food Priority
Meat, Fish, and Vegetables can be eaten raw, while Grains have to be processed first. In my experience, there doesn't seem to be any sort of reason or advantage to bother cooking the Fishcakes or Meat Stews since slaves seem to prioritize eating the raw ingredients over any cooked meal. If there was a way to prioritize eating cooked food (Maybe changing the Extra Rations rule/privilege to make it so individual slaves/peons prioritize cooked food over raw)

And bit of a nitpick, but how come you can determine how many items craftsmen produce, but harvesting raw resources doesn't have an equivalent system? Assigning a slave to mine 80 iron for example would help organize and streamline a lot of the player's operations or failing that, being able to assign each resource a set number of items that will alert the player if total stock of that item is lower then whatever is set. Maybe as some sort of mansion upgrade?

You can assign food priorities to characters in the Training And Rules section. By default, they will eat their preferred food first.

Assigning minimal amounts of resources to be gathered or crafted sounds like a job for the Headgirl; slave masters have no time to waste on such trivialities.

As for resource gathering, dungeon resources are finite anyway, that would be too much logistics in consideration

There is an advantage to using the cooking system to process food. On it's face, there is a built in reward mechanic but it is only on the material side. One gets three meat stews for the price of one meat and one veggie, which means that for the cost of two food resources one gets three food resources and those three foods count as both meat and veggies. One gets three fishcakes for the cost of two grain and one fish, and those three foods count as both grain and fish. These prepared foods satisfy the "Likes" requirement for both of their base food types so the slave/peon/follower achieves the "favorite food" loyalty bonus when consumed normally or improves "mood" when on a date unless their "Hates" food is the other component which results in the pros and cons cancelling each other out. Essentially, the benefit from cooking these foods is to stretch food supplies if one is running a particular deficit, which is resource management.
