Hi there!

Wow, that's a pretty long text here, but I'll try to answer everything ~

a) Hehe. Those thought circled in your head for quite some time, right? If yes, good. Considering Dottore is manipulative and enjoys that, nothing is better than making people think about ordinary things longer than they should - and have them come up with absurd connections and unusual theories. So, Dottore basically messed with the players mind~

For the Players room, it's the same reason as a), but with something more behind it. If you would ask Dottore about it, he would tell the reason I stated above for the mirror, but I would say he actually dislikes the room for another reason. Dottore mostly has no connections to people - also he doesn't seem to view most humans as emotional and sentinent individuals. An own room changes that. A personal room is a safe space, so entering it give the feeling of entering someone's world - and I think that's what scares Dottore a little.

1. Loyal end seems to be liked by many, so I think there might be a reason hehe. As for his - kind of sudden - change of mind... The option to steal the carriage was a test - hence it was so easy. And the punishment for trying would ne the Frozen end. I originally wanted to end another choice - to poison the tea, but I figured no way the player could obtain/make/steal poison from anywhere.

The loyal end is kept pretty 'light' in terms of reason end explanation, because I wanted/will start the second game from there.

From there, the player will be able to either stay or plan their escape more detailed~ (adding that to the first game would only make the path lenght even more uneven comparing 'true spy' and 'loyal'.

2(?) I think the most 'true' end would be the loyal/obedient one, as the paths/ends are pretty similar story wise. For the true Spy end, I wanted to keep it short and pretty unsatisfying. I mean, the reason you downloaded the game surely wasn't because you wanted to initally escape from the mad Doctor, right?~ (still added it because I thought it would be kinda nice to have).

3. What Sparks His interest are unusual things/behaviour. People who carry this spark are worthy to keep around, at least that's what he believes. So your thoughts about his Initial plan to get rid of the Player and their 'wasted' escape chance is correct~

4. His relationship to the player is pretty much like you said, summed up to "obsessive" for the Immortal end and "respecting" for the other.

5. For the "Not telling the truth" Thing... Depending on the variable "letter kept/burned", If that is what you mean.

6. Yes. (I don't really need to elaborate this Fürther I guess XD Pantalone has Connections and know Dottore and his behaviour well~)

7. The actually plan of the Sages was a "Blade with two Sides". They knew the Player was a problem. Best case: the Player returns with valuable information for the Sages. Worst case: the Player's disguise would fail and *someone* would take *care* of them. So either way, it would be a win for the sages~

I also planned an actual return-to-sumeru path for the second part (which would be different than the true Spy end because the Sages never expected the Player to actually side and survive with/around the Doctor~)

Thank you for your questions and thoughts :3

Thanks your answers, that clears it up a lot! :) Originally I was planning just making a short reply, but it ended up as another big post, so feel free to reply anytime, I don't mind waiting!

a) Oh yeah, that makes sense! I see Dottore a bit differently, like he does see other people as sentient humans, however everyone has different HCs of him. :) That was really unexpected, I wouldn't have thought that to be the reason (messing with people and esp. him being scared a little of entering someone's world), so that was definitely interesting, and in the former case of messing with people, really funny!! I think he'd be super surprised if someone told him the "sex slave room but seems out of character for you" theory, I wonder if he'd consider it funny or distasteful that someone would even consider the possibility (or if it's not unexpected for him), haha!

1. Yeah, personally Loyal is my favourite ending, followed by the Apprentice. :) I liked the idea of both being loyal, and being a spy who's interested in the stuff but is trying to escape (with the latter possibility allowing for some cool "seduce the spy" routes), so I'm definitely looking forward to your sequel! I'm guessing asking if he still has any more doubts after that or mostly trusts you is a spoiler, hehe! (I really liked how he seems to trust you, so it'd be nice to find out if he actually does, esp. after the second test, cause he did seem genuine *squee*). On that note, I'm surprised he'd just let you go (and get the True Spy ending), I'm guessing in that case he'd eventually pop up one day? :) Like in the Double Spy ending (esp. since he did do the Delusion test).

And ooh, what were your plans for the poison ending? What would've happened? And yeah, I agree, unless Dottore meant it as another test and left there things you could mix on purpose (and you're not an Amurta student), it does seem hard to pull off (plus I wouldn't do it, I bet Dottore would most likely be immune or able to heal himself, haha!)

2. To be honest, I really enjoy the "spy escapes succesfully" stories, so that was my number one big end I wanted to reach first, gain the intel and leave, but I did leave it open in case I would've found a path that would be even more fun, like the Doctor seducing you to be his assisstant or something (something similar to the Apprentice route). I actually forgot to add this, but the first time he mentioned the Akademiya on the first day, I thought he knows and I misinterpreted it, so I thought I might as well explore since knows and expects me to snoop around, lol! Queue my surprise when it turns out he (most likely) just found I the player has been kicked out from the Akademiya and not that you're a spy. So I probably would've stayed in (and gotten Apprentice or Guilty) otherwise. I really wanted to ask him "Oh, so you found out?" with a merry laugh/chuckle back at the door, how would he have reacted to that? (and it'd be even funnier if he only mentioned being kicked out but not the spy bit, whether he'd notice the momentary confusion/surprise that he didn't actually find out the player is a spy!)

3. In that case, why does he keep the player in the Obedient route who tries to escape, esp. if you reach it by playing the same way you'd reach the Loyal ending, so the only difference is that you don't try to escape? Why would he try to dispose of you in the latter case and not the former? That's what was surprising to me, or is you knocking out Webtorre interesting enough for him to want to keep you around, so in one case he keeps you cause you managed to escape and knock him out, and in the other because you didn't escape? I'm guessing he wants to dispose of you only because he still hasn't seen enough of you like in the Apprentice/Guilty/Immortal routes, otherwise he would've found you interesting enough to keep you right away. Am I correct in assuming he thought your interest was fake, and that was why he wanted to dispose of you in Loyal at first?

5.Ah, right! I tried both versions and I think the ending was always the same whether you burn it or not, if you decide to keep it a secret as the Apprentice from him, so that's why I was wondering if he actually would react negatively if he found out later.

7. Oh nice, I'm looking forward to that! :) Ah, so him saying you¨re a goodwill "gift" from the sages was just bluffing with you and messing with you?

Thanks again, it was great to hear your thoughts! Tbh I've been obsessed with the game since I played it on Sunday night, so I'm looking forward to the sequel and seeing more interactions with Dottore (and Pantalone I'm hoping, hehe!). I'm guessing it will take a few months at least again to make it, right? so I should be expecting the release date to be at last half a year or more? :)
