I really like the cute bugs and overall aesthetics. There is a very solid gameplay loop here. The one thing I wasn't sure of is when I would win or lose, I'm probably missing something there. Great work. It's cool to see a LOVE2D game.

To answer your question, there are two end states to a level; if you destroy the ship or if you survive all of its attacks.
There is a progress bar at the top of the screen, but upon play testing people didn’t seem to notice it lol
so we’re planning to make that more apparent in future updates 👍
