Some random other musings in regards to element and faction to personality is compatibility!
elements/factions that are weak against another will tend to be repelled by their weakness/superiority, while same and unrelated element/factions have an easier time getting along.
For instance Deita and Samuel have a very good bond because they are both priests and air and water have no weakness/strength repulsion.
Beisel both resents and admires to her brother as she is both weak against his earth/mage typing while Beileph seems rather oblivious to his sister's attitude towards him.
Miyetta's favorite subordinates are Jeth and Mikaylis because Mikaylis is weak against mage/neutral to fire and Jeth is weak against fire/neutral to mage. In other words she only has a dominating traits over them. She favored Ruwin at one point because she also had a neutral and dominating trait over him as well. She never liked Deita whom she is weak to both traits, while Mikaylis and Jeth don't share the same level of animosity towards Deita.
Lor, Samuel, Ruwin and Katnir all have either a faction or element clash with each other so that sort of explains why they only thing they have in common is their love for the protagonist lol.
Maybe Beileph and Katnir will be able to start a friendship in the future as well as Samuel and Beisel. :)
The next planned Elite to be introduced is a Fire Priest, Jonas the Eternal Spark. We can expect he will get along better with Ruwin~
